If you’re going to serve beer at your party, why not use the portable draft dispensing power of a jockey box? It looks professional, it’s easy to use, and it keeps your beer ice cold. This kit includes everything you need except the keg.
This jockey box kit includes a durable 48 quart cooler, complete faucet and shank assembly, stainless steel dispensing coil (which should be submerged in an ice bath for optimal chilling), a precise CO2 regulator, beer and air line, a CO2 air tank, and a standard US Sankey (D system) coupler. All you’ll need to do is head down to your local beverage center and get a keg of your favorite premium brew.
To use, make an ice bath for the coils of ice cubes and water. Set up your jockey box no more than 10 feet from your ice cold keg. Attach the beer line from the top of the keg coupler to the cooler coupling, and the air line from the outlet barb on the CO2 regulator to other side of the coupler. Adjust the keg regulator to 40-60 PSI based on your setup. Keep both the jockey box coils and cold throughout to avoid foaming (no more than 40° F).
Be sure to wash out your lines and coils after each use, just as you would normally clean your beer lines. Check out our jockey box instructions and tips for more information on completing your setup.
