These replacement washers are used for Hoff Stevens couplers. These washers tend to fall off when the barrel is switched, so it's a good idea to have some spares just in case.
Hoff-Stevens kegs are sometimes referred to as the Twin Probe system. This valve style was common on kegs before brewers switched over to the US Sankey (D System). While used on a limited basis commercially, many homebrewers still use this type of coupler on older barrels.
What makes this keg coupler truly unique is the twin probes that are inserted into the keg. The probes are made of stainless steel, which guarantees exceptional durability and protects the flavor of your beer (not added metallic taste).
