A jockey box is a portable beer tap dispenser that sends draft beer from the keg to a stainless steel coil submerged in an ice bath inside a cooler that keeps beer chilled. The beer travels through the coil on his way to the draft faucet that is attached to the outside of the cooler. We sell complete jockey box units as well as kits for converting an existing cooler to make your own jockey box. 

You can also tap a keg at parties and outdoor events with a party pump or picnic pump. A keg pump can be used manually or electronically to pump oxygen into a keg to dispense beer. Remember to keep your keg properly chilled when using a picnic pump by keeping covered in ice inside a bucket or keg cooler. You can also use an insulated keg jacket to keep it cold.
